On Sunday Pastor Moore continue preaching the powerful sermon of Breaking the Huddle Pt.3. He shared a few key points with us, such as we are trained to meet the needs of others. Another valid point was if you have Jesus you ought to have some power to change some things.
A question Pastor Moore asked was How many of us is Jesus disappointed with because we aren't producing souls?

Sunday Pastor Moore preached about an Unlikely Gift Pt. 2. The text came from 2 Corinthians 12:7-11.
Some Key points: 1.Unlikely Gift will protect you. 2.Unlikely Gift will push you to pray 3.Unlikelh Gift will prompt you to praise.
Pastor Moore stated if you would get right then you will be able to handle everything around you. He also share that in 2012 you will need God and God will let the devil have you so you can run back to God.
Your disobedience does not erase God's power!
What did you learn from the Sermon?
If you didn't make it to church on Sunday you missed an awesome Sermon by Rev. Christopher Moore. His Sermon was entitled "Ordinary Person, Extraordinary Responsibility." He taught us what it means to really be blessed and highly favored. He also shared that God can use anyone no matter their background. For instance, in the text God used a virign Mary to have his Child. The three points in the sermon were: 1.Person designed by God
2. Plan designed by God
3.Power-depend on God.
What did you get from the Sermon?
Once again, Today's Sermon was awesome! Pastor Moore continued the Sermon Can you handle the Change. A valid question that he asked was what has changed since you've been in church? From the Sermon we know that we must 1. Eliminate excuses 2.Expect the Critics 3.Elevate your behavior. He then went on to say if you believe Romans 8:28 then why are you complaining. People will talk about us because it is biblical; we just have to know how to handle it.
What did you learn from the Sermon?
Did you miss Church on Sunday? If so, you missed an awesome Sermon about if you can handle the change. Pastor Moore preached on how so many of us pray for blessings but we really can't handle what comes with being blessed. The scripture that he preached from was John 5:1-7. This scripture talked about the Man at the pool of Bethesda who said he wanted to be made well. One of the points that he made was that we must eliminate our excuses and take responsibility. Of course this sermon will be a series but I am looking forward to part 2.
What did you take from the Sermon?
What an Awesome Sermon on Sunday. I don't know about you all but that Sermon Pastor Moore preached truly blessed me. We all have burdens but instead of complaining and being depressed we have to use our burdens as a bridge. Vocab for today-Burden (heavy load or weight). Bridge( something to get you over). The Sermon text was from Acts 18:1-11. Highlights from the sermon:
-If you intend on following God you will have some burdens.
-God uses the stuff you call trouble to propel you.
-Don't look for God to move you but ask God to navigate you through the trouble.
This sermon taught me to appreciate my trouble and that my trouble is all apart of God's plan and timing. I may not like my current position but I know this burden I am experiencing is just building me up to get over the bridge.
What about the Sermon on Sunday touched you?
On Sunday we learned more lessons from the Beggar and it concluded with our condition being cured by our faith. This was a powerful sermon because it taught us four things: 1. Your condition cannot stop your faith 2.Critics can't cancel your faith 3. God did not respond to the begging but to the faith 4. Your condition is cured by your faith. Point 3 hit home for me. The reason why point 3 stuck out to me was because we all like to complain, get depressed or even get mad at God, but now I realize that he doesn't hear any of that. If we don't have faith it’s like a child throwing a tantrum and the parent not listening until the child stops and uses his or her words. Blog family we now know that God only responds to our faith so from now on I will not complain and just continue to have faith in every situation. I don't know about you but I want God to respond to me.
Which point hit home for you and why?
Sunday was an awesome day of celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pastor Moore preached an awesome word about "Surviving Against All Odds." .Sunday we celebrated Breast Cancer survivors and they all shared powerful testimonies on how their faith in God healed them. The testimonies were spot on with the message beacuse Pastor Moore preached about the woman who had the issue of blood for 12 years and how her faith healed her. A lot of us have issues that we think are bigger than what they really are. I was convicted because after hearing the sermon and the Survivors testimonies I realized that I need to stop complaining and be grateful and continue to have faith in God.
Medical Fact: According to the American Cancer Society white women are more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer although black women have a high chance of dying from the disease.
What convicted you on Sunday and why do you think black women are more likely to die from Breast Cancer?
